Next Council Meeting

This coming Monday, May 11th is the next official Council Meeting.

For some reason it is not open to the public like all council meetings are. The last time the council met as a group, we felt it necessary to invite all members to it, even if it was limited to a first come, first serve basis.

The circumstances we are all facing make it crucial that everyone has an opportunity to voice concerns, ask questions, and be part of the process.

For reasons that are unclear, the DGA staff has a different idea, and has prohibited such a meeting. What is clear, is that the staff has little intention to allow us the self determination we deserve by dictating how we conduct our business.

I suggested the staff email members to let them know about the meeting, allowing them to reach out to council members to pursue anything they weren’t able to do in person. I have heard no response.

So, please contact council members so we can address any specific concerns you may have.
